General Election Predictor

The Electoral Vote Predictor is pretty interesting. They compile current poll numbers for each state and extrapolate linearly from the data as to the direction each candidate is heading in that state. While I’d say that a linear extrapolation of data is not the best predictor, their current information is quite interesting as its broken down by state.

It’s quite interesting that a site that uses polls for all of its data would question the accuracy of the polls but they also do that: http://www.electoral-vote.com/info/poll-accuracy.html . Anyway, it makes for an interesting glance at an election predictor (although they themselves ackownledge that their methods are far from perfect).
